Hi there, welcome to Imperium School of Engineering and Information Technology. My name is Dr Than and my discipline is in Mechanical Engineering. I am the Head of school and I am delighted to share with you the unique characteristics of Imperium’s Engineering programmes.

Imperium’s Engineering Diploma programmes are our homegrown products where the curriculum, teaching, assessment, and awards are delivered by industry experts.

Imperium’s diplomas are designed to prepare post-secondary students to have a sound foundation in engineering principles and concepts. Students who have successfully completed the programmes will have the knowledge and understanding of fundamental theories as well as relevant practical skills in laboratory and field work. Our programmes will ensure that our graduates are career-ready for employment with good ability to carry out analysis and design calculations and solve problems.

Students who are more academically inclined will find themselves well equipped to further their studies, leading to a first degree. Evidence of our quality of education is seen from numerous articulation agreements between Imperium and several universities in Australia, UK and USA. Thanks to our global recognition, our diploma graduates have been accepted into their degree programmes with advanced standing.

At Imperium International College, we provide an affordable pathway for our diploma graduates to progress into Year 2 of the Anglia Ruskin University, Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Mechanical Engineering programme. This is an affordable yet premium collaborative programme which produces graduates who are practical oriented and ready for the real-world industrial practices.
So, we welcome you to join us in this journey to chart your own success.

About the Programme

Our Anglia Ruskin’s Mechanical Engineering programme focusses on project based-learning, meaning students will apply their theoretical learning from class to a project-based module that runs throughout Year 1. Students will gain experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team with other students from mechanical engineering courses, helping to prepare them for working in competitive commercial and industrial environments. Skills in teamwork, management and leadership – along with an integrated approach to engineering – are highly valued by employers. While studying the ARU Mechanical Engineering programme, students will develop both their academic and practical skills, becoming an analytical and creative problem-solver, exploring how engineering works in the business context, and how to achieve results within financial constraints. Students will also use testing and measurement equipment, learn how to specify and design electronics subsystems and understand how to use computer-based and mathematical methods to model and analyse mechanical-engineering problems.

Why Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical Engineering @ Imperium International College?

Student Testimony

Studying at Imperium International College was a great experience for me. The classes are small, which means every student gets his/her fair share of attendance to do well in their respective courses. The lecturers and the staff are friendly and it is easier to approach when help is needed for a difficult course like Engineering. Engineering at IIC has helped me to solve problems like how a real-life engineer does. IIC also helped me to explore my non-academic skills as well. Overall, IIC is a better place to enhance your engineering skills.
