Our Story
Imperium International College is powered by MAA Group as the group focuses on expanding its education business. Imperium International College’s driving force is committed to ensure that its students can access high-quality education and the best employment opportunities across all sectors.
Imperium’s strategic location at Fraser Business Park, Sungai Besi enables students to enjoy the benefits of living and learning in metropolitan of Kuala Lumpur with access to top academic and professional expertise as well as excellent facilities with a link bridge to the city’s Light Rail Transit (LRT) network that connects the college (Chan Sow Lin LRT station) to the greater KL.
Students who wish to pursue these programmes can progress seamlessly from Imperium’s home-grown Foundation and Diploma programmes, which are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), a statutory body in Malaysia set up under the Malaysian Qualifications Act 2007 to accredit academic programs provided by educational institutions providing higher education and facilitate the accreditation and articulation of qualifications.
Imperium also offers vocational programmes such as Hospitality as well as certificate programmes for languages such as English and Spanish. The Spanish programme offered in Imperium is in partnership with The Instituto Cervantes, the official Spanish Government Centre.
With a mission to provide the best quality education and skills for a wide range of students, Imperium is also working hand in hand with The Budimas Charitable Organisation in providing scholarships to deserving students. Imperium has also given out approximately RM2 million in scholarship to high achievers, sports scholars, and many others since taking over.
The college also introduced a new initiative that redefined student’s tertiary education experience which is the Imperium Interview Opportunity Programme
The former guarantees graduates who meet specified criteria that they will receive an interview placement opportunity with an organisation that is related to their area of study. This is a joint initiative between Imperium International College & MAA Group Bhd to create opportunities and provide a career jumpstart for our graduates.
As a tertiary education provider, Imperium International College is striving to ensure that our students can access high quality education and the best employment opportunities across all sectors. Imperium International College is now owned by MAA Group as the company is keen on branching out its education business. MAA Group also owns St John’s International School and Pusat Tuisyen Kasturi under its subsidiary, Edumaax Sdn Bhd.

The college is managed by the Senior Management Group, chaired by the President, Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, who works closely with the Vice-President and other senior officers in the group.
The college is governed by the Board of Directors comprising senior industrialists, economist, and educationist. The Chairman of the Board is Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra, Executive Chairman of MAA Group of companies and the Chairman of the college.
The academic governance of the college is through the Senate, which comprises the full senior academic managers.

Imperium International College is fully recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia. All academic programmes have been approved by the Ministry and have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), which adheres to rigorous international standards for academic quality. Where relevant, the academic programmes have also met the requirements of appropriate professional bodies.
